Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2025 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and the worker who is constructing a compound wall of the petitioner land in the Survey in Patta No.399 Survey No.201/3B, measuring about 7 cents and in Survey No.201/4 measuring about 13 cents, totally 20 cents and in the petitioner share 8720 sq.ft. within the New Town Survey Land Registrar Block No.25, Survey Field No.12, Sub Division No.5, New Survey No.201/4, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2025 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and the worker who is constructing a compound wall of the petitioner land in the Survey in Patta No.399 Survey No.201/3B, measuring about 7 cents and in Survey No.201/4 measuring about 13 cents, totally 20 cents and in the petitioner share 8720 sq.ft. within the New Town Survey Land Registrar Block No.25, Survey Field No.12, Sub Division No.5, New Survey No.201/4, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that by virtue of partition among his brother and sister and his cousin son, the subject property has been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner, however, some unknown persons came and threatened him and later, he got measured his property through a Surveyor. While so, when the petitioner was trying to construct a compound wall, again some unknown persons came and beaten the petitioner and threatened him with filthy language, which 2/4
prompted the petitioner to make a representation dated 25.02.2025 to the respondents police, seeking to provide police protection at the time of constructing the compound wall, but there was no response. Hence, the learned counsel sought for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 25.02.2025.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matters, since the representation dated 25.02.2025 made by the petitioner seeking police protection, is still pending, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same after issuing notice to the counter parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
