O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, in Crl.M.P.No.3016 of 2024 dated 19.11.2024, that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem District, weekly once on every Monday at 10.00 am., (if those day falls on holiday, on the very next day), until further orders. 2.

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.912 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 308 of IPC. Therefore, the petitioner filed anticipatory bail petition in Crl.M.P.No.2469 of 2024 before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, and the same was allowed by an order dated 24.09.2024, on condition that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem, daily at 10.00 am., except holidays until further orders. Thereafter, the said condition was relaxed in Crl.M.P.No.3016 of 2024 that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem District, weekly once on every Monday at 10.00 am., (if those day falls on holiday, on the very next day), until further orders.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, in Crl.M.P.No.3016 of 2024 dated 19.11.2024, on the petitioner is completely relaxed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
