(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith publish the Coastal Zone Management Plans (CZMPs) and land use plans prepared under the CoastalRregulation Zone Notification, 2019.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Yogeshwaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous since the respondents have published the map, as sought for by the petitioner.

3. Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, Additional Government Pleader, Puducherry, also confirms the said statement.

4. In view of the same, no order need be passed in this writ petition. The writ petition is therefore, closed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.12159 of 2023 is closed.
