The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to give police protection.
2. The entire allegation appears to be a dispute between the neighbours and no specific incident has been described in the petition. If at all any dispute or criminal act has been committed by the respondent, nothing would deter the petitioners to file appropriate information to the police for lodging an FIR for the criminal offences. Therefore, a general direction for police protection cannot be granted. The Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
