ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2021, seeing assignment Patta in her name in relation to the property situated at No.88, Lathur Madhura Malayampattu Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District in Survey Nos.185/26A & 185/26C admeasuring to extents of 42 cents each.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has made a representation dated 18.11.2021 before the respondent, seeking to issue Patta in her name in respect of the aforesaid properties. However, the said

application has been rejected by the respondent, on the ground that the properties in the aforesaid survey numbers belongs to Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondent, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Hence the Writ Petition stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
