Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2025 with regard to issuance of Patta in respect of the petitioner's property to an extent of 0.36 Cents Comprised in Survey No.259/1A situated at Malaikottalam Village, Kallakurichi Taluk and District within a stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 21.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.G.Balamanikandan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is relying upon the sale deed dated 07.07.1928, which stood in the name of the petitioner's husband. The petitioner is also relying upon the joint patta in Patta No.1519, in which the petitioner's husband's name was reflected. After the demise of her husband, the petitioner submitted an application for inclusion of her name in the joint patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

4. In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner has to 2/4

submit an online application to the respondent along with all the necessary particulars and on receipt of the same, the respondent shall act upon it and take a decision within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of online application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
