ORDER

The petitioner was convicted by the trial Court by judgment dated 06.03.2019 in C.C.No.49 of 2015 and sentenced to undergo six months rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- for offence under Section 279 of I.P.C. and sentenced to undergo two years rigorous imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs.5,000/- for offence under Section 304(A) of I.P.C. Aggrieved against the said order, he preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.132 of 2019 before the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore. The learned Sessions Judge, by judgment dated 14.02.2022, dismissed the appeal confirming the conviction and sentence of the trial Court, against which, the present revision has been filed. 2.When the case was listed on 07.08.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, in order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner to argue the case, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'For Dismissal' on 13.08.2024. Accordingly, this case was listed today under the caption 'For dismissal'.

3.Even today (i.e. on 13.08.2024), there is no representation for the 2/4

petitioner either in person or through his counsel. 4.Hence, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed for non-prosecution.

5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is informed that no protection order has been given to the petitioner. Hence, the respondent police is directed to secure the petitioner/accused for the accused to undergo conviction.
