ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner Association on 12.03.2024, wherein, the members of the Association have sought for execution of the Sale Deed in their favour. 2.Heard Mr.S.P.Sudalaiyandi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3/6 3.The grievance of the members of the petitioner Association is that the allotment of vacant land was made in the year 1984 and construction has been put up and the instalment amount has also been paid as per the lease-cum-sale agreement. In some of the cases, the original allottee has transferred the property to the subsequent purchaser and there are nearly 203 persons who are the members of the petitioner Association who approached the respondents seeking for execution of Sale Deed in favour of them. Since the representation made by the petitioner on 12.03.2024, did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner Association on 12.03.2024 and take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It goes without saying that such decision shall be taken after issuing individual notices to the members of the petitioner Association and affording them the opportunity.
