O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time limit to surrender before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, (Special Court for SC/ST Act) at Tiruvannamalai and file a bail application as per order in Crl.O.P.No.2242 of 2020 in Crime No.673 of 2019 dated 04.02.2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the order copy was made ready only on 19.03.2020 and due to Covid - 19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were unable to comply with the order and thereby seek extension of time.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered and four weeks time is granted to the petitioners to surrender before the Trial Court as ordered by this Court, from the date on which the order copy made ready. Failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand automatically dismissed.
