ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records pertaining to proceedings in C.No.A-1/007915/2019 dated 05.04.2019 issued by the 2nd respondent, quash the same and to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the process of recruitment of Sub-Inspectors of Police pursuant to the Notification No.2 of 2019 dated 08.03.2019.
2. On account of the punishment imposed in departmental disciplinary proceedings, the petitioner was not allowed to participate in the process of direct recruitment for appointment to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police.
3. The learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner now brought to the notice of this Court that the punishment was set aside by 2/5
this Court in W.P.No.21816 of 2015 dated 11.01.2022. Since the punishment was set aside by this Court, the petitioner becomes eligible to participate in the process of selection.
4. If any further notifications are issued and if the petitioner became eligible otherwise, he is at liberty to submit his application.
