PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore,to dispose of the D.V.A.No.26 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore,to dispose of the case in D.V.A.No.26 of 2017, pending on his file within a time frame. 2.It is seen that the petitioner is the wife of the 1st respondent. Out of their wedlock, they were blessed with two children. At the time of marriage, the petitioner's parents gifted huge gold ornaments, silver articles and also jewellery. Even then, the respondents behaved with the petitioner rudely and beaten and harassed her. Therefore, unable to bear the torture, the petitioner filed a petition in D.V.A.No.26 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore, seeking custody of the minor child, protection and residential rights, return of the jewels, gold and silver articles gifted during their marriage and also maintenance. The case is still pending for trial. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also that the domestic violence case is pending from the year 2017 onwards, there shall be direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore, to complete the trial in D.V.A.No.26 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
