ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2024 and consequently to issue the demarcation or survey report to the petitioner for his property measuring to an extent of 1858 sq.ft. along with 1⁄2 share over the common passage of 894 sq.ft. as mentioned in settlement deed doc No.2401/2014 dated 26.6.2014
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property has been settled to the petitioner by way of a settlement deed dated 26.06.2014. The grievance 2/5
of the petitioner is that though the officials from the Survey Department have inspected the lands and surveyed the property, they have not furnished any report. In this regard, he has given applications dated 15.02.2024 and 11.03.2024 requesting survey report from the second respondent. However, the same has not been furnished to the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 15.02.2024 and 11.03.2024 and pass Orders on the same and to furnish the survey report to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
