ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. 2.The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of HMOP. No.234 of 2023, pending on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Alandur, Chengalpattu District.

3.The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is her husband. The petitioner filed HMOP. No.234 of 2023 on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Alandur, Chengalpattu District seeking for dissolution of her marriage with the respondent.

4.According to the petitioner, the respondent was earlier set exparte in HMOP. No.234 of 2023. Thereafter, the respondent filed an application seeking to set aside the exparte order along with the counter statement in the HMOP. The application filed by the respondent has been allowed and the counter statement filed by the respondent in the HMOP was taken on file. According to the petitioner, there is no progress shown in HMOP and therefore, she seeks for early disposal of HMOP. No.234 of 2023.

5.No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Subordinate Judge, Alandur, Chengalpattu District to dispose of HMOP. No.234 of 2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.After giving due consideration to the year of the HMOP and the present status of HMOP, this Court directs the Subordinate Judge, Alandur, Chengalpattu District to dispose of HMOP. No.234 of 2023, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

8.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
