Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the tender for Transportation of Essential Commodities from Food Corporation of India (GPS) Depots (including Ex-wagon delivery given by FCI) to TNCSC Storage points (for the period from 01.07.2015 to 30.06.2017) for Thiruvallur region or in the tender for any other region or regions.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the tender, for Transportation of Essential Commodities, from Food Corporation of India (GPS) Depots, to the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Storage points, for the period, from 01.07.2015 to 30.06.2017, at Thiruvallur Region or in the tender for any other region or regions.
2. Though various grounds have been raised in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition to show that the petitioner should be allowed to participate in the tender process, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents Corporation had submitted that the tender process had been completed during the month of July, 2015, and the tender had been allotted to one M/s.Saravana Transports. Under such circumstances, the relief prayed for, in this writ petition, cannot be granted, by this Court, at this stage.
