This criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the Crime No.419/2011 pending on the file of the respondent police and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.419 of 2011 was completed and final report in CC.No.772 of 2011 was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Puducherry and the accused compounded the offence on 12.04.2014 and were acquitted.
