With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to the direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2023 seeking for issuance of name transfer in the patta pass book pertaining to the properties situated in Kattur Village, Pongalur Municipality, Tiruppur District
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the subject property by way of sale deed dated 26.02.2009 and she is possession and enjoyment of the property. The grievance of the petitioner is that though she had applied for patta through online on 31.10.2023 and sent a representation seeking name change in the patta, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there 2/4
shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2023 and to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
