Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the third respondent in Proceedings Na.Ka.No.243/2020/A2 dated 29.10.2021 and Na.Ka.No.03/2024/A2 dated 23.02.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to issue fresh patta in the petitioners' name for the lands in Survey Nos.179/1 and 179/2 respectively. Mr.P.Sathish [in both W.Ps.] Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions are filed challenging the proceedings of the third respondent dated 29.10.2021 and 23.02.2024 and also to direct the respondents to issue fresh patta in the name of the petitioners for the lands in Survey Nos.179/1 and 179/2 respectively.

It is the contention of the petitioners that the land acquisition proceedings have already been quashed. However, when the petitioners have applied for patta, the same has not been issued. Hence, they seek a direction.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents produced a copy of the order dated 13.06.2024 in Na.Ka.188/2024/A2 wherein the Tahsildar passed the order to issue patta in favour of the petitioners. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that despite such an order being passed by the Tahsildar, patta has not been issued. As the order has already been passed by the Tahsildar for the issuance of patta, the same shall be issued to the petitioners. 4.
In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to issue patta to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, pursuant to the order dated 13.06.2024 passed by the Tahsildar, without fail.

With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
