ORDER
The petitioner is the wife. She states that she resides at T.Nagar in Chennai.
2. The first respondent husband filed a petition in I.D.O.P.No.193 of 2013 on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu for divorce. The first respondent husband resides at Pallavaram. Hence, Chennai is nearer to the residence of the first respondent also. It is well settled that in matrimonial disputes, H.M.O.P. may be tried at the place where the wife resides.
3. In this case, it is stated that the petitioner wife has three years old child. Hence, I am of the view that I.D.O.P.No.193 of 2013 may be transferred to the file of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai.
4. In the result, the transfer CMP is allowed and the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu is directed to transfer the petition in I.D.O.P.No.193 of 2013 pending on his file to the file of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
