ORDER

The prayer in this petition is to direct theto direct the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal petition dated 22.08.2016 on the file of the first respondent within a reasonable time.

2. According to the petitioner, she made an appeal petition dated 22.08.2016, seeking for transfer of patta in her name. Since the same is pending for consideration, the writ petition is filed.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Even according to the petitioner, in the pending appeal, she was asked to appear for enquiry on 29.08.2016 and *she appeared. Thereafter, no order has been passed and now she seeks for earlier disposal of the appeal. Considering the fact that since enquiry was already conducted on 29.08.2016, the authority concerned shall pass appropriate orders in the petitioner's appeal dated 22.08.2016 as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
