Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to take appropriate action as per G.O.(Ms). No.540 dated 04.12.2014 to remove the encroachment of the 8th respondent in the Forest poramboke land measuring 10 acres in S.No.451, present S.No.451/1 of Bikkanahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by disconnecting the Electricity Connection in Electricity Connection No.528 TF-IV 7.5 HP which was provided to the 8th respondent herein by the 7th respondent. (Order of the Court was made by Hon'ble Chief Justice) Ms.Anitha, learned counsel, appearing for the official respondents reports that the encroachments have been removed.

2. Copies of the latest status report have been forwarded to some of the appearing parties, including the petitioners. The petitioners accept that the encroachments have been removed.

3. Accordingly, W.P.No.11870 of 2021 is disposed of. W.M.P.Nos. 12628, 12629 and 12631 of 2021 are closed. There will be no order as to costs.
