(CRIME NO.8/AC/CB/2021/CB) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to relax the conditions imposed by order dated 08.04.2021 in Crl.MP.No.4486/2021 in Crl.OP.No.5003 of 2021 insofar as it requires the Petitioner to report before the Respondent Police weekly twice at 10.30 a.m. (i.e on Monday and Friday of every week).
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.AL.GANTHIMATHI, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. S.KARTHIKEYAN, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This is a petition to relax the bail condition, imposed on the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 08.04.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.4486 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.5003 of 2021. 2.
This Court, by order dated 11.03.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.5003 of 2021, granted bail to the petitioner on several conditions, one of which is that, the petitioner should appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders, for relaxing which, the petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.4486 of 2021, in which, this Court, by order dated 08.04.2021, modified the said condition to the effect that the petitioner should appear before the respondent/police weekly twice at 10.30 a.m. (i.e., on Monday and Friday of every week), until further orders. The present petition has been filed seeking relaxation of the aforesaid condition.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the aforesaid condition. He further submitted that the petitioner has been tested positive for COVID-19 and he is in quarantine now.
Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is tested positive for COVID-19 and also considering the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the aforesaid condition is relaxed and the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent/police as and when required for interrogation. -sd/- 12/05/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
