ORDER

The petitioner is facing a disciplinary proceedings, initiated by the first respondent. The second respondent is the authority entrusted with the conduct of disciplinary proceedings. The proceedings in TDP No.35 of 2010, commenced on 3.2.2011. According to the petitioner, he is retiring in April 2016. The petitioner therefore wanted a direction to the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

2. The second respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be a further direction to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders, taking into account the report submitted by the second respondent, within a period of two months thereafter.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
