Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first to sixth respondents to recognize the first petitioner herein as the legal guardian of the seventh respondent namely Mr.V.S.Lakshman, S/o. V.S.S. Mani, aged 62,years, residing at No.97, Veeraperumal Koil Street, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004 and as the manager of the property morefully described in the schedule to the writ petition and to further direct 2/6
the first to sixth respondents to permit the first petitioner to execute and register deeds, documents of conveyance and other deeds or documents over the property of the seventh respondent more fully described in the schedule hereunder and to register the same.
SCHEDULE All that piece and parcel of land (vacant) site bearing Plot No. 115 in Nehru Nagar, Village No. 14, Kottivakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chingleput District comprised in Old Survey No. 317/1(Part), as per Patta S.No. 317/9 (part) measuring East to West on the Northern Side-99', on the Souther side -100' North to South on the Eastern Side 46'5" and on the Western Side - 55' in all totally measuring 5050 sq.ft. or thereabouts and bounded on the:- North by - the land in survey No. 315;
East by - Plot No. 114 West by - the land in Survey No. 314; and South by - Plot No. 116 Situated within the Registration District of Madras South and Sub - registration District of Adyar.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has sought for registration of document to meet the medical expenses of the seventh respondent and this Court by order dated 07.08.2020 has directed the respondents to proceed with the registration in order to meet the medical expenses. Thereafter, the seven respondent passed away on 17.08.2020. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.
2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.06.2024 nsl Index:Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No Neutral case citation: Yes/No 4/6
