Appeal suit filed under Section 96 read with Order XLI Rule 1 of the Civil Procedure Code against the Judgment and decree dated 11.10.2018 made in O.S.No.2362 of 2016 on the file of XV Additional City Civil Court, Chennai to set aside the same and pass such further or other orders as are deemed fit and thus render justice. J U D G M E N T
Earlier, this Court, on 11.07.2025 had referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras. Accordingly, the parties have appeared before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court Madras and arrived at a compromise and entered into a settlement agreement dated 19.01.2026.
2. In view of the Settlement Agreement arrived at between the 2/4
parties before the Mediation Centre, High Court Madras, this First Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 19.01.2026. The said Settlement Agreement shall form part of the decree. Refund of Court fee ordered under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court Fees Suit & Valuation Act, 1955. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, stands closed. 22.01.2026 ay Index: Yes / No Speaking Order / Non-speaking Order To 1.The XV Additional City Civil Court, Chennai.
