The petitioner in W.P.No.23806 of 2011 belongs to Schedule Caste community and claims that he is entitled to refund of the fee paid for the academic years 2004 - 2006. From the academic year 2006 - 2007, no fee has been claimed as the Schedule Caste community candidates are exempt from payment of fee.

2. The learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2/Law University has drawn our attention to the letter dated 23.08.2007 addressed to respondent No.3, in terms whereof, a sum of Rs.8,58,450/- has been refunded on account of excess fee paid.

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 3 states that he will obtain necessary instructions from respondent No.3.
