Captioned six writ miscellaneous petitions have been filed with prayers to restore six writ petitions viz., W.P. Nos.20236, 21323, 21329, 21320, 21333 and 21031 of 2022 which were dismissed for default/nonprosecution on 17.03.2025.
Dr. P.G. Santhosh Kumar, learned counsel for WMP petitioners is before us on the VC platform (To be noted, this is a Page Nos.4/6
hybrid hearing, which is a daily/regular/routine feature in this Court). Though there is no articulation in the support affidavit dated 24.03.2025, learned counsel for WMP petitioners submits that there was technical glitch at the far end (at the counsel's end) and therefore, learned counsel could not represent the matter on 17.03.2025.

Issue notice to respondents.

Mr. T.K. Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for R1, Ms.S.R. Sumathy, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for R2 and Mr. S. Shoaid Fazil, learned counsel representing Mr. A. Ashwin Kumar, learned counsel on record for R3 (private respondent) are before us and all three learned counsel for respondents submit that there is no serious objection to the restoration prayer.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of the matter and also taking into account the fact that the learned counsel for respondents say that they have no serious objection, captioned WMPs are ordered as prayed for. 7.
Interim order which was in operation till the main writ petitions were dismissed for default/nonprosecution on 17.03.2025, is restored and it shall continue until further orders. 8.
List the main writ petitions on 07.07.2025.
