ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This contempt petition has been filed on the ground that without complying with the directions of this Court passed in W.P. No. 40809 of 2015, permits for diesel autos are being given by the third respondent.

2.Taking action for vehicular pollution is different from granting permit. Merely because permits have been given for diesel autos, it cannot be said that no action is being taken to monitor the vehicular pollution. For the aforesaid purpose, the petitioner will have to show the steps taken, which, in his view, are not adequate and not taken while addressing the issue of vehicular pollution. Thus, we do not find any wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
