This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 seeking time extension and to waive of demand of EB Charges for the month of April and May which has been set out in petitioners representation dated 23.04.2021.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sent a representation dated 23.04.2021 to the first respondent stating that due to pandemic situation they were https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
unable to complete the commissioning process and get safety certificate from CEIG and requested time for completing the entire process within 60 days and to waive demand for the month of April and May and issue supply availability notice after 60 days, within which the entire erection and commissioning will be completed. Since, the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for the relief stated supra.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 23.04.2021 to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. It is made clear that until the disposal of the representation, no coercive steps shall be taken by the respondents.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
