ORDER

Alleging that the respondent has wilfully and deliberately disobeyed the order of the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore, dated 22.02.2022 made in H.M.O.P.No.1551 of 2022, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, both sides represented that the visitation by the petitioner is going on smoothly now. But, however, the respondent is not permitting the parents of the petitioner to accompany him to see their grandchild. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested this court to permit the paternal grandparents to visit the child.

3. In our opinion, if such an order is passed in the contempt proceedings, it may amount to modifying the decree in H.M.O.P.No.1551 of 2021 dated 20.02.2022. This court cannot pass such an order in this contempt petition. However, this court could make a moral persuasion to the respondent to permit the paternal grandparents also to see the child.

In the result, This Contempt Petition is closed accordingly with the above observation. Consequently, connected Sub Applications are also closed.
