ORDER

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, in Crime No.122 of 2025, on the file of

the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with other accused, was running a brothel house under the guise of a spa by engaging women. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the occurrence took place on 25.08.2025 and that, at this length of time, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. However, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police strongly opposed this petition on the ground that the petitioner was conducting a brothel under the guise of a spa and that the respondent police rescued eight victims.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the serious nature of the allegations, the suffering of the eight victims, and the fact that the petitioner is charged under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, this Court is of the firm view that the petitioner does not deserve the grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
