Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 7 to consider petitioner representation dated 15.03.2019 and to take action against the 8th respondent for illegally carrying on catering business without any approval or permission from respondents 1 to 7. According to the petitioner, the petitioner made representation to the respondent Corporation for taking action against 8th respondent, for running business without any approval or permission from the respondent Corporation. Since no order has been passed by the respondent Corporation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
2. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation would submit that the respondent Corporation will inspect the premises and pass orders, after providing opportunities to the aggrieved parties.
3. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on merit, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent Corporation to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.3.2019 on merit and in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunities to the aggrieved persons.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
