ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under to direct the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet to dispose of the case in C.C.No. 3881 of 2016 within a stipulated time.

2. The case in C.C.No.3881 of 2016 relates to the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and therefore, the same must have been transferred from the file of the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet to the file of the Fast Track Court, Saidapet.

3. This Court is aware of the fact that there are thousands of cases pending on the file of the Fast Track Court, Saidapet and the learned Magistrate does not have infrastructure even to keep the bundles.

4. In such view of the matter, no positive direction can be issued to the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet to complete the trial within a time bound manner. However, the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.3881 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible.
