PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 2.7.2015 in seeking permission and protection to conduct cultural program in Arulmigu Sri Muthu Mariamman Tiru Koil situated at Chatram village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District scheduled to be held on 09.07.2015 from 7.00 P.M to 10.00 P.M.

ORDER
By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner claims to be a Committee member, which organises the festival of Arulmigu Sri Muthu Mariamman Tiru Koil situated at Chatram village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District. He submitted a representation dated 2.7.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct a cultural events in the temple, which includes song and dance programmes to be held on 9.7.2015. Since the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, he came forward before this Court with the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the event of permission granted by the respondent, there would not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and prays for appropriate orders.
4. Heard the submissions of Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
5. This Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the representation dated 2.7.2015 made by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 2.7.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 8.7.2015 and the respondent shall also communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
