Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to implement the order dated 30.03.2014 in Na.Ka.No. A/28/2013 on the file of the Labour Inspector, Villupuram, by considering the representations dated 10.05.2015 of the petitioners.

ORDER

The petitioners are employeed in the office of the Tamilnadu Electricity Generation and Distribution Corporation. They approached the authority under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status) Act, 1981. The authority viz., the Inspector of Labour, Villupuram, passed an order in Na.Ka.A/28/2013, dated 30.03.2014, directing the respondent to give permanency to the petitioners. Now, the petitioners have made individual representations dated 10.05.2015 to implement the aforesaid order.

2. In these circumstances, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass orders on the representations of the petitioners dated 10.05.2015, in the light of the order dated 30.03.2014 of the Labour Inspector, Villupuram, referred to above, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
