PRAYER : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971, to punish the 1st and 2nd respondents for their wilful and deliberate violation of this Court's Order dated 29.01.2024 passed in A. No.3497 of 2023 in C.S. (COMM. DIV.) No.178 of 2023.

ORDER

There is no representation on the side of the petitioner once again. Even on the last hearing date i.e., on 16.07.2024, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents is present.

2. The Hon'ble Supreme Court had granted stay of contempt proceedings, which is the subject matter of this Contempt Petition and the stay still continues. It was made clear by this Court in its earlier order dated 16.07.2024 that this Contempt Petition will be closed, if the stay continues. Since the stay continues and there is no representation on the side of the petitioner on the last hearing date as well as today, this Contempt Petition is 2/4

closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive this Contempt Petition in case, the petitioner succeeds in the SLP now pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
