Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to cause production of petitioner's wife Mrs.Renuka, W/o.Manikandan, aged about 27 years and his daughter M.Nithisri, D/o.Manikandan, aged about 2 years before this Court and to set them at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's wife viz. Renuka and his minor daughter viz. M.Nithisri before this Court and set them at liberty.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that, as per the direction of the earlier Division Bench, the alleged detenues were produced via Video Conferencing before the earlier Division Bench and that they are not in the illegal custody of anyone and on account of matrimonial discord, wife of the petitioner had left his company.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that earlier, on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Rishivandiam P.S.Crime No.234 of 2020 for 'woman missing and girl missing' has been registered; since the petitioner gave a letter dated 22.03.2021 withdrawing his complaint, the said FIR has been closed as "further action dropped".

5. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
