disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. These petitions have been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider petitioners representations dated 07.01.2026 received by the respondents on 12.01.2026 and issue no objection certificate in favour of the petitioners.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioners that the subjects plots were purchased in Sri Raghavendra Garden under registered sale deeds and they are the absolute owners. Originally, the Housing Board notified for acquisition however, later, the same was withdrawn by the Government. Certain third parties have filed suits seeking declaration, however, the suits were dismissed upto this Court and thereafter, they have filed writ petitions challenging the notification of acquisition by the Housing Board and that writ petition was also dismissed and further, in the writ appeal, this Court directed the authorities to consider the claims of the lawful land owners in accordance with law. SLP as against the writ appeal was also subsequently withdrawn by the Government before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Thereafter, the Government of Tamil Nadu issued G.O.Ms.No.179, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 04.10.2024 deciding to reconvey the lands to the rightful owners and thus, the petitioners have made representations on 07.01.

consideration till date. Hence, these writ petitions.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 07.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
