it in the name of the legal heirs of Chinnangikonar and his deceased son Sekar as per the proceedings in DK6/ 96- 97B4 dated 20.06.1996 of the zonal Deputy Tahsildar No.2, Athur, Salem District and Proceedings in O.Mu. No. 10719716/ 2024/G1 dated 10.01.2025 of the 1st respondent considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024, sent to the respondents within a stipulated time. ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 30.12.2024, wherein the petitioner is seeking for effecting necessary correction in the revenue records pertaining to the subject property and to remove the classification made as Tharisu and to classify the same as patta land in line with the proceedings of the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar No.2, Attur, dated 20.06.1996. 2.Heard Mr.R.Gopinath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respodents. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1st 2 / 4
respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 30.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
