(Made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) This is a matter pertaining to converting a rain water course into a road on the ground that the same is recorded as Water Channel in the Revenue Records. Several survey numbers have been indicated. But, we find that the petitioner has immediately rushed up to this Court after having allegedly sent some representation on 24.07.2020 to the District Project Officer, District Board, Salem.
2. In our considered opinion, such matters have to be taken care of particularly by the District Collector and Tahsildar of the area concerned. The petitioner does not appear to have approached the Revenue Authorities at all and therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition, without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner or any other public spirited person to approach the District Collector, Salem for the redressal of any such grievance pertaining to all the grievances raised in the present writ petition.
The petition is accordingly consigned to records with the aforesaid liberty. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
