O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.06.2014 & CSR.No.108 of 2014, investigate the same and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he had lost his passport on 13.06.2014, in respect of which, he has given a complaint and petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.108 of 2014. Since the complaint does not disclose commission of cognizable offence, no positive direction can be given to register an F.I.R.,

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that if the Police issue a non-traceable certificate, then he can apply for a fresh passport.

5. Hence, the respondent Police is directed to enquire into the complaint and issue necessary certificate in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
