Ms.S.Vaitheeswari, learned Standing counsel accepts notice for the respondents and seeks some time to obtain instructions and file a counter.

2. Upon condition that the tax at the original rate prior to enhancement is remitted by the petitioner within a period of one (1) week from today, there shall be an order of interim stay for the enhanced demand.

3. List on 17.06.2021. Counter by then with an advance copy served upon the petitioner.

Counsel for the respondent will confirm receipt of payment on the next date of hearing.
