RESPONDENTS Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the second respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.1346/A3/2015, dated 14.5.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant (Science for the year 2015-16 in the Uthankarai Panchayat Union, Krishnagiri District and select and appoint the petitioner to the post of B.T.Assistant (Science) by considering the B.Sc. (Physics) conferred by the Vinayaka Mission University as valid as per G.O.Ms. No.39 dated 30.4.2014.

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner is a Secondary Grade Teacher. The petitioner underwent B.Sc. (Science) from Vinayaka Mission University and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
said degree was approved in view of G.O.Ms.No.39, Personnel land Administrative Reforms Department dated 30.04.2014. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner sought for quashing the order passed by the second respondent dated 14.05.2015, the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider his case for inclusion of his name in the panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant (Science) as on 01.01.2013.
4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer now made and in the light of the order made in W.P.Nos.16976 & 16981 of 2015 dated 16.6.2015, the respondents are directed to consider the Degree in Mathematics conferred by the Vinayaka Mission University (formerly known as Vinayaka Mission and Research Foundation) Salem, a Deemed University, as valid in consonance with the G.O.Ms. No.39 Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department dated 30.4.2014 and pass appropriate orders and the second respondent is further directed to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling for the post of B.T.Assistant (Science).
