This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent herein by conducting a village public meeting and to form a Arul Mighu Mariyamman Temple Muniyampatti function Committee for the annual temple function of Arul Mighu Mariyamman Temple to be held from 03.09.2018 to 07.09.2018 based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 06.07.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 01.09.2018, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter got adjourned. Thereafter, the matter is listed today. Today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous, which would be the reason for non-appearance of the petitioner.

4.Since the petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent to form a Arul Mighu Mariyamman Temple Muniyampatti function Committee for conducting the annual temple function of the year 2018, the prayer cannot be granted at this point. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present case and the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
