ORDER
By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner claims to be a member of Sri Mariamman Thiirukoil festival committee. He submitted a representation dated 22.6.2015 to the respondent seeking permission to conduct a cultural programme in Sri Mariamman Thirukoil at Katteri, K.R.S.Vattam, Pakkrithakka village and Post, Jollarpettai, Vellore, which includes song and dance programme to be held on 18.7.2015. Since the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, he came forward before this Court with the present writ petition.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the event of permission granted by the respondent, there would not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and prays for appropriate orders.
4. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. This Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the representation dated 22.6.2015 made by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.6.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 16.7.2015 and the also communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
