O R D E R

The wife in a matrimonial proceedings has filed the above transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition seeking to withdraw M.C.O.P.No.132 of 2017 pending on the file of Family Court, Pondicherry and transfer the same to the Principal Family Court, Chennai. The husband has filed the above M.C.O.P.No.132 of 2017 under Section 13(1)(i-a) of Hindu Marriage Act, before the Family Court, Pondicherry for divorce on the ground of cruelty.

2. It is stated that wife is living in U.S.A. and the husband is living in Hyderabad. However, the learned counsel for both the parties consented that M.C.O.P.No.132 of 2017 may be transferred to any of the Family Courts in Chennai, as both the parties would not have any objection for the transfer of M.C.O.P.No.132 of 2017 to the Family Court, Chennai.

3. Accordingly, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed by withdrawing M.C.O.P.No.132 of 2017 from the file of Family Court, Pondicherry and transferring the same to the file of Family Court, Chennai.
