ORDER
(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 147,148,294(b),323, 324 and 307 of IPC in Crime No.454 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant one sivakumar is that on 06.07.2020 the petitioners consumed liquor and assaulted the defacto complainant with knife and wooden log in his forehead and nose and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioners are notorious persons in the area and that several cases are pending against them. He would submit that the accused have brutally assaulted the victim and he sustained grevious injuries. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of Anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5.Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and that the antecedents are bad and that the victim has suffered grevious injuries. This Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
