Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order of the 1st and 2nd respondents in Ch.Mu.Order No.10071/10/A.7/Tvr,dated 03.11.2016 and Na.Ka.G.S.No.521/Thanjai/Va.Ka.Thanjai/2016, dated 17.11.2016 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct the election of Jamath of Kattimedu Athirangam Mohideen Andavar Pallivasal for the ensuing election as per by law of the Jamath on 17.09.1959, especially to permit that married gents can only participate in election and to prepare a previous list of eligible voters on the basis of eligible members those paid subscription amount of membership and to vote in the election.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition, with liberty to the petitioner to move the Wakf Tribunal. He has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect. 2.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Wakf Tribunal. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.Nos.3611 and 3612 of 2017 are closed.
