Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the respondent made by petitioner on 28.07.2015 through C.M. Cell and subsequent reply from the 1st respondent on 03.08.2015 and to conduct the election of the committee member of Mohideen Aandavar Pallivasal at Boothamangalam.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2 The grievance of the petitioner is that no election has been conducted in respect of Mohideen Aandavar Pallivasal, situate in Vikranallur, Boothamangalam, Needamangalam Taluk, Thiruvarur District. In this regard, the petitioner submitted representations to the respondents and the respondents have sent a reply dated 03.08.2015, stating that proposals are pending for amendment of by-law as well as election of new office bearers and thereafter, no response is forthcoming. Hence, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3 Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mohamed Fayaz Ali, learned counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4 Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances, directs the respondents to take a decision in accordance with law, in terms of their communication in Na.Ka.No.20255/10/M7/jpU:h; dated 03.08.2015 and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5 The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
