Respondent PRAYER: Original Petition filed under Section 25 of the Guardian & Wards Act, 1890 and Under Order XXI Rule 2 & 3 of Original Side Rules read with Clause 17 of the Letters Patent Act for praying the petitioner (i) to grant permanent custody of the minor child V.Alvin Jonathan born on 12.09.2015 now aged about 8 and 1⁄2 years to the petitioner herein; (ii) for such other reliefs as this Court may deem fit and proper to the facts and circumstances of the case.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsels appearing on either side would submit in unison that the parties to the 1/5

Petition have arrived at a settlement and had entered into a Joint Memo of compromise and the same is placed before this Court. 2.Learned counsels appearing on either side would also acknowledge the said Joint Memo of Compromise that had been entered between the parties and requested this Court to dispose of the Petition in terms of the Joint Memo of Compromise.

3.In view of the understanding that had been arrived at between the parties and the parties have also agreed to withdraw the O.P.No.3547 of 2024 pending on the file of the Additional Family Court-VI, Chennai, which is said to have been transferred from the Family Court, Tiruvallur in which the parties have also agreed to part ways mutually. The said Joint Memo of Compromise is taken on record.

4. The learned Judge, Additional Family Court-VI, Chennai,is directed to take on record the mutual consent application that is to be filed by the parties and record the same and dispose of the O.P.No.3547 of 2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same.

With the aforesaid direction, the O.P. is disposed of on the terms of the Joint Memo of Compromise. The said Joint Memo of Compromise is also annexed to this order.
