Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Sports Authority of India, the third respondent herein, to nominate an Election Officer to first identify the genuine corporate members of the second respondent and thereafter conduct the election of the Office Bearers of the second respondent and consequently direct the first respondent to restrain the second respondent from holding a Special General Body Meeting on 26.08.2018 or any other subsequent date until elections are held to the Office Bearers of the second respondent by an Election Officer nominated by the first respondent in accordance with the bye-laws of the second respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission before this Court that the cause aroused for the purpose filing the writ petition did not exist as of now. Thus no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner also made an endorsement to the said effect in the bundle.

2. In view of the above submissions and also the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to

costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
